A movie, also called a “Motion Picture,” is a video recording made by an independent distributor of video-store rental shops in a movie theater or on-line. A movie, along with many similar kinds of videos, are called “block movies.” A movie ticket is not a movie, unless it has been approved by the distributor for release in the theaters. When you view a movie on a television set, the image displayed on the screen is a picture generated by the TV set itself using a special lens system. (LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) televisions do not use this type of lens system.)
The first step in watching a movie is finding a movie available for rent. There are several different places to find movies. You can go to a video store (i.e. Blockbuster) where they usually have a great selection of recent releases as well as classics that have been released on DVD. The second step in watching a movie is to purchase a DVD or Blu-ray disc that you can burn to a blank disc to make the movie play in your home theater. There are several options for renting and buying these DVDs. You can buy them directly from the store that holds the movie rental video or you can get them through an online retailer like Netflix or Amazon. Most people prefer to buy DVDs because the viewing quality is higher.
Finally, you will want to create a movie library of the videos that you have watched. To do this, you will want to go online and find the websites that offer free movie watching videos. You can bookmark some of your favorite videos and save them to a computer so you can watch them again. When you want to access the movies again, you just turn off the computer and access the videos on your home theater system. If you prefer to have the movies on hand for future reference, you can put them into a MP3 player, such as an iPhone or iPod Touch.
