Justin Bieber – Music Review

justin bieber

Justin Bieber is a Canadian singer, actor and songwriter. He is currently a teen idol, whose fans call themselves “beliebers”. He was born and raised by his mother in Stratford, Ontario, Canada and learned to play the drums, piano, guitar, and trumpet growing up. At the age of 12, he placed second in a local singing competition. His mother posted videos of his performances on the website YouTube, and he quickly gained an international following.

In 2008, Bieber was discovered by talent scout Scooter Braun, who helped him sign a recording contract with Island Records. His debut album, My World, was released that same year and debuted at number one in several countries. It was a huge success and went on to sell over 100 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums in history.

Since his debut, Bieber has had numerous hits including What Do You Mean? which became the biggest song of his career and broke a record on Spotify. He also made appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the David Letterman Show, Kids Choice Awards, and Lopez Tonight. He has starred in multiple films, including Never Say Never and Take Me Home Tonight. He is an active philanthropist who supports Pencils of Promise, which builds schools in underserved communities.

He has had a string of scandals and bad press that fueled controversies over his behavior and image. In March 2013, he was accused of spitting on his neighbor and making threatening statements, and two months later residents of his Calabasas neighborhood complained about his driving speed in residential areas.

Despite this, Bieber continues to tour and releases new music with his most recent album being Purpose which debuted at number one in the US. He has also been featured on a number of TV shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Oprah Winfrey Network, and Good Morning America.

The most recent music from justin bieber is a more intimate affair than his previous work. It’s the most self-referential, least cluttered of his albums and also its strongest. The piano ballads on this album, like “Lonely,” feel like the cleanest break with his former self that he’s ever committed to song.

On the interlude that samples Martin Luther King Jr’s famous speech, Bieber asks himself how he can serve others, particularly his younger self who felt lost and needed comfort so badly. Whether it’s through his music, his inspirational messages on Instagram, or his deliberately calm manner of being, he is trying to help that kid.
