Celebrity Biography – Justin Bieber

justin bieber

Justin Bieber has been the subject of much media attention since he won a talent competition in his hometown of Stratford, Ontario when he was 12. His mother posted the video online, which soon went viral and catapulted him to international fame. He followed that success with a series of hits and collaborations with other artists, and his 2015 album Purpose found wide appeal beyond his core teen audience. Singles like “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry” topped Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

In addition to his music, Bieber is a global ambassador for UNICEF and is actively involved with Pencils of Promise, an organization that builds schools in needy areas of the world. He also appears at PETA events and encourages people to adopt instead of buying animals from breeders. Bieber is a philanthropist who has donated millions to charity and humanitarian causes.

In 2009, he starred in a YouTube video of himself covering Boyz II Men’s song “Boyfriend.” It was the first of many hit songs that put him on the map as a singing sensation. The following year, he released the R&B and pop-infused album My World 2.0.

His debut tour was a huge success, selling out arenas across the globe. However, he ran into some trouble with the law as well, with several arrests for minor offenses. He has since gotten back on the right track, and his music continues to grow in popularity.

Bieber has a light-lyric tenor voice that can cover two octaves, four notes and a semitone. He is also an accomplished guitar player, pianist and drummer. He has collaborated with a number of popular artists on songwriting projects, including Drake and Nicki Minaj on the chart-topping song “What’s My Name” and with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee on the song “Despacito.”

In 2012, he recorded his own version of Mariah Carey’s Christmas classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” as a duet with her. The song was a top 10 hit in North America and reached number two in the UK. Bieber continued to release his own music, with singles such as “Boyfriend” and the summer party anthem “Where Are U Now,” which featured Skrillex and Diplo.

In the past, he has been linked to Sofie Richie and Selena Gomez. He rekindled his on-and-off romance with Gomez in 2017, and later connected with Hailey Baldwin. Their relationship inspired his 2020 album Changes. The album’s lead single, “What Do You Mean?”, topped the charts. Its follow-up, “Love Yourself,” was also a number one hit. The video for the song was filmed in Iceland, at locations such as Seljalandsfoss Waterfall and Skogafoss. The video was directed by Rory Kramer and starred Bieber, Bardia Zeinali, P.J. Marino and Monique Parent. It was the second-most viewed music video on YouTube as of March 2022.
