Biography – Justin Bieber

Justin Drew Bieber is a Canadian singer, actor, and songwriter who became the world’s most popular teen idol in 2009. His fresh-faced good looks and appealing pop music quickly sparked a global craze. Bieber’s debut album, My World, and its accompanying tour were huge hits and propelled him to international fame.

But a string of controversial incidents and personal setbacks began to tarnish his once-pristine image. In 2013, Bieber was arrested in Miami for marijuana possession and driving under the influence. He later pleaded guilty to DUI and reckless driving and served probation. In 2014, he was arrested again, this time for drag racing and felony assault after an alleged fight with a neighbor. He also received a community service order for dumping a fire hydrant and was fined $2,500.

Following his legal troubles, Bieber began to rebuild his career. He relaunched his brand with the release of his second studio album, Purpose, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and featured the hit single “Sorry.” His next album, Changes, was another hit and made him the youngest artist to have seven songs reach the top of the Hot 100 with his first three releases.

The same year, he was featured on the hit song “Despacito” alongside Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, which topped charts in both Canada and the United States. In 2017, he collaborated with Skrillex and Diplo on the tropical house track “Where Are U Now” and reunited with Khaled, Quavo, and Chance the Rapper on the song “No Brainer.”

Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are married since 2019. They have two children together, Jaxon and Bodhi. Hailey and Justin are both active on social media, often sharing photos of their family.

In an interview with the podcast In Good Faith With Chelsea & Judah, Justin said that they are planning to adopt a child soon and that they hope to have a third child. They have also talked about going on a mission trip in 2020.

Justin has made it clear that his goal is to be a role model for young people and wants to help them navigate the pressures of celebrity life. He has spoken openly about his mental health struggles and tries to be the stable person for younger artists that he wish he had had growing up. In the Netflix documentary series Seasons, there’s a scene where Billie Eilish is completely overwhelmed at Coachella and Bieber stands there with patience and empathy until she feels safe enough to continue. As he continues to work on new music, the young father and husband is clearly on a mission to make a difference in this world. He has the love of his wife, the support of his fans and a new album that overflows with gratitude for it all. Surely, that’s something to be grateful for.
