Why Is Justin Bieber So Famous?

Justin Bieber was brought up by a single mom in Stratford-upon-Avon, Ontario, Canada, growing up surrounded by rock and roll music and learning to play the guitar, the drums, the bass guitar, the keyboards, and even the harmonica. In seventh grade he tried out for a talent show called “Tune-up,” where he performed songs based off of his own inventions. Eventually he participated in an amateur singing contest, putting second, in front of other kids, and his mom posted a clip of his winning performance on YouTube for family and friends who couldn’t get to attendance.

Justin was signed to a record label, but wasn’t very serious about following up on it, even though he had plenty of friends in the industry. Instead, he began spending his time hanging out with his family and friends, getting in mischief (mostly skateboarding), and trying to find his voice. When Justin first decided to pursue a career in music, he was living in Beverly Hills, but moved when his mom couldn’t support him anymore and moved back home to Canada, which put him within driving distance of her. Eventually, Justin moved back to California, and in the meantime, his mom had managed to acquire her own home there, so Justin began living with her new family in their new house, conveniently located just minutes from Justin’s mom’s new home in Beverly Hills.

After Justin was discovered by America’s leading pop star, Johnane Williams, he quickly became a huge fan. He performed at numerous country shows, big rock shows, even performing at the Olympics, but his path was still blocked by his mom’s fame. Eventually, Justin Bieber’s mom got to know Justin, realizing that he enjoyed her son’s music, so she asked him to perform at her concerts as well. She soon became Justin’s manager, and their relationship worked out really well. Eventually, they became inseparable, with Justin as Justin’s manager and tour producer as well.

As the teenager Justin Bieber continued to develop, so did his demeanor and approach to people. The first single off his first album, called Baby was an immediate hit. That single became the first single one time that Justin was able to sign to a major label, i.e., a major company was interested in featuring him on their next album. Once he was given the go-ahead to sign to them, what did Justin Bieber do? He went on to focus all his energy on the music and the business side of things, instead of putting all his effort into making his music an impact and a success.

Now, years later, Justin has released two studio albums. The first one was Believe, followed by the equally successful Just Me. Each of these studio albums was met with raves from music lovers and critics alike. So what has it been that has caused Justin to gain worldwide fame? Well, it seems that all it takes to become a superstar is a great voice, a great personality, a good body, a good haircut, and a good sense of fashion. All you need to do is put your thoughts and your heart into whatever it is you’re doing and put it onto a mic, hit the keys, get up there on stage and start your act, and let the world know about it.

That’s exactly what Justin Bieber did with his first solo album, Believe. With an all original sound that was unlike anything else being played on the radio at the time, Believe made Justin a star overnight. It was his first time singing solo, and even though he had never done it before, it opened doors for other artists that were either breaking into the music industry or were just getting their first big break. For the young star that had just debuted his first album, this was a huge deal. Now that his solo career has been able to thrive, there is no telling what the next Justin Bieber album will be like.
