A movie, also known as a video, short film, live-action film or multimedia movie, is an artistic work of visual art designed to simulate real-life experiences, stories, perceptions, emotions, beauty, or mood through the use of visually moving pictures. In the 21st century, movies continue to be popular primarily because they provide an escape from the stress and obligations of daily life.
